Inquest Planned in Plane Death Near Shelbyville
coroner Dr. W R Tindall will hold an inquest this week into the death of Howard Howell twenty four of Shelbyville burned after his newly purchased plane from Seymour Aviation Club crashed while taking off from Seymour Municipal Airport south west of Columbus. Howell a machinist at Chambers Manufacturing Co died after the crash his body identified by ring initials H H. He was unlicensed with limited flight experience and had flown with Harold Carroon from Shelbyville. The plane was later defended as not a junker by former owner Gora B Lewis who bought it in Little Rock Ark in 1934 and flew it here in seven hours and had since piloted it on several trips without trouble.
