A female bandit and male companion robbed the Lee Callahan store in Clearspring at 10 this morning. Bullets flew as pursuers chased the gray Chevrolet through Heltonville. none struck anyone. The man demanded cash then fled after forcing Callahan to the post office area.

Traffic Head of Interstate Manager Bert Weedon Dies
Bert Weedon traffic manager and director of Interstate Public Service Company died at Clark Blakeslee Hospital Indianapolis Friday after more than a year of illness. He was forty four and had long served railroad and public utility work including Big Four Railroad Terre Haute and Interstate since 1913. He married Mary Haltom of Indianapolis November 17, 1919. He is survived by his widow.

Mrs Emma Densford aged 64 died Friday evening at 615 in Fort Meade Florida after a three month illness. She was born August 26 1860 in Jackson County and was married May 15 1887 to James C Densford. Surviving are her husband two sisters Ada Anderson and Jula Adams one daughter Ruby Keene and two brothers Harrison A Love and Bruce Love. Funeral services will be announced later.
