The Seymour board of aviation commissioners approved a 1975 budget of 392 330 at a Monday meeting in the airport manager’s office. The plan will go to the city council budget committee then to the full council if approved. The increase over 1974’s 304 139 stems from higher railroad maintenance building and structures including hangars road materials and doubled police and fire protection to 10 000 in 1975.

City Council Seeks State and Federal Grants for Water Projects
Seymour city council approved two resolutions to apply for state and federal grants under the water pollution control act. Mayor Moritz and city officials expect grants to cover pollution control work with city funds supplementing the awards. A roll call vote passed both readings and the adoptions, six to zero. The meeting also addressed loose dogs, long train delays at crossings, and stop signs at two intersections.
