Three Hurt in Week End Mishaps
Three people were injured in two weekend accidents. Thomas J. Hudson and Minnie B. Glover sustained bruises after a vehicle struck a concrete culvert on Bethany road near Crothersville. Funeral services for Samuel David Wagoner 64 of Brownstown R2 will be Tuesday at 2 pm from Winklepleck Funeral Home Browns town. Rev John A Phelps of Brownstown Christian Church will officiate. Burial at Fairview Cemetery. He lived near Tampico and had been ill three months. Born April 28 1887 near Freetown son of Elisha and Martha Wagoner. Married Goldie Akers April 13 1925 in Brownstown. World War I veteran, 138th Infantry, one year overseas. Surviving are his widow and an adopted daughter Sandra.

Truck Driver Found Guilty In Overweight Truck Case
The state versus Jeffrey Lark of Harwich Iron Company South Bend ended in Brownstown Jackson Circuit Court with Lark convicted and fined 635 dollars for operating a truck 6350 pounds overweight on the second axle. He was arrested February 2.

Teen-agers Arrested in City on Liquor Charges
Three youths ages 15 to 17 were arrested by Seymour police on liquor related charges. The 15 year old faces two counts including operating a vehicle while intoxicated and lacking a license. Two others, from Columbus and North Vernon, were fined for public intoxication but names were withheld. A 19 year old, Jackie Meyers of Columbus, was fined $10 and costs for public intoxication.
