J G Wischmeier Dies Suddenly Prominent Farmer
J G Wischmeier 55 a respected farmer of Grassy Fork township died at Schneck Memorial hospital after an emergency operation for appendicitis. Funeral services will be held at his Grassy Fork home and Wegan Lutheran church with burial in Wegan cemetery. He was born September 23 1872 in Brownstown township, married Lucinda Stein Kamp in 1899 (one child who died) then Anna Fosbrink in 1905 who survives, along with several relatives and a grandchild. He was a longtime Wegan Lutheran church member and respected community figure.
