Harvey Morris, the oldest member of the Washington county bar at eighty five, died at his Salem residence after a heart attack. He studied at Eikosai and Blue River academies, read law with S B Voyles, practiced fifty five years, and was married to Martha Tucker in 1991. He recently earned a medal from Salem Masonic lodge and held Knights Templar and Knights of Pythias memberships. He edited the True Blue Republican in 1883 and was active fifty years in Republican politics.

City health authorities quarantined two homes for measles and released one on Wednesday. Truck Crashes Through Bridge Southeast of Jonesville
