Mr and Mrs L C Griffitts of North Walnut street narrowly escaped serious injury when their Studebaker left State Highway No 1 north of Edinburg before striking a telephone pole. Fog and unfamiliar road caused the mishap as they were returning from Indianapolis to Columbus. Damage to the car is estimated at 200 dollars. the vehicle was later towed to Columbus for repair.

Lightning Strikes Sutton Dairy Barn
Roy Sutton and his son were milking in a large Amity area dairy barn when a lightning strike hit the rods.
