A two vehicle crash Monday afternoon and a motorcycle mishap injured the rider, investigated by city police. Beulah L. Maxfield, 59, of Indianapolis, and Janet M. Persinger, 17, of Brownstown R1, were involved in a four o clock collision at Tipton and Walnut streets as eastbound sedans the 1973 Maxfield and the 1968 Persinger cars attempted lane changes around a turning vehicle.

Seymour residents answered a late night and early morning call for rare 0 negative blood at Schneck Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Donald Heiwig of the Red Cross praised the quick response with six local donors including Mrs. Burch, Roger Gregory, Mrs. Rudick, Mrs. Sewell, Leo Von Dielinger and Mrs. Wienhorst, noting one donor arrived before the hospital was told donors were found.
