Weekend Wrecks Injure Seven In Local Roads
Police reported seven injuries and about six thousand six hundred dollars in damage from weekend crashes across the area. Two Medora teens were hurt on Ind 235 near Ind 135 after a wet pavement crash. Timmy Wilkerson, 16, suffered shoulder pain. Edward Persinger, 16, had cuts and back pain. The car rolled several times into a corn field, $1,000 damage. Arrests await further inquiry. Two Indianapolis residents were hurt on I 65 near the U S 31 overpass. they refused treatment. Robert Phillips, 32, had arm injuries. Gwendolyn Phillips, 40, hip pain and a hand cut. The crash occurred about 9 15 p m on the northbound interstate.
