Ministers Set Schedule For Union Services
Seymour ministers announced a summer schedule of daily 7 30 p m services at Shields Park shelter house from July 1 to August 28. Each service will feature a different pastor with special music and ushers arranged by their church. The lineup includes George Florence July 3 T G Scott July 10 A A Cohn July 17 Rev Hunsinger July 24 Emery Parks July 31 Ralph Adkins August 7 H N Frederick August 14 Thomas Pickens August 21 Edgar Maddox August 28. A farewell dinner for Rev and Mrs Teasley is planned for June 28 and no regular meetings will be held in summer except an all president’s meeting.

Arsonage of B town Baptists Nearly Ready
The Brownstown Baptist church parsonage, brick built and formerly the Hel ler residence, purchased six weeks ago from the Heller estate, should be ready for occupancy after July 1. The Rev Myron Hinton his wife and four children will move in once remodeling and redecorating are finished. The previous parsonage was sold years ago for its remote location.

Modern Indiana Telephone Building to House New Dialing Equipment
The Indiana Telephone Corporation plans a 145 by 95 foot building at Walnut and Third streets in Seymour. Architect Alden Meranda and contractor Leslie Colvin lead the project to house automatic dialing gear, 24 operator positions, and offices with enhanced lighting and climate control. The plant will hold 10 000 lines, include dual power and a standby diesel generator, and pave the way for customer dialing of long distance calls.

Man Fined On Driving Without License and Hit‑and‑Run
Allen Allman failed to appear for trial in Jackson Circuit Court at Brownstown on driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident. He pleaded guilty to the second count, was fined 25 and costs, and given six months suspended on good behavior with 30 days to show full damages. First count dismissed. The March accident involved a collision with Clara Lee’s vehicle. James Thomas also pleaded not guilty to leaving the scene and DUI. bond set at 500 each, with attorney to appear by June 25.

Dr Rothring's Mother Dies in Cincinnati
Mrs. Earl Rothring mother of Dr. Howard Rothring radiologist at Jackson County Sehneck Memorial Hospital for four and a half years died suddenly Sunday morning at her Cincinnati home while preparing for church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at Rachel Funeral Home Glenway Avenue Cincinnati with burial in a Cincinnati cemetery.

Final plans are underway for the twenty fifth anniversary reunion of Shields High School class of 1930 and a joint reunion with class of 1929. A dinner at the Elks Home starts at 6 o clock Saturday. The event blends reminiscence with the alumni dance at Seymour Country Club that same evening, replacing the missed 1929 gathering.
