County Churches Get New Pastors At Methodist Conference
At the 123rd annual Methodist Conference in Bloomington on Sunday afternoon new minister assignments were announced for Brownstown and Wallonia. Dr Clyde S Black retired from Trinity and Browns town posts to lead the Surprise Church in Jackson county. Rev W E Siders moved from Everton to replace Rev C W Taylor at Bellaire Indianapolis. Rev Siders was replaced at Everton by Rev S W Morrow from Bowling Green. Rev R M Sprague was named pastor of the Wallonia charge succeeding Rev E L Dobbs who received no appointment.

Three Fined By Mayor For Public Intoxication
Three men plead guilty to public intoxication in city court Saturday. Each paid 10 dollars and 13 dollars in costs to Mayor Donald L. Herwig. James Hinton and Everett MacDonald, both of Indianapolis, were found in a car near U S Route 31 south of Crothersville. Charles Moritz of Seymour was arrested by city police.

The Rev. C. Glynn McCalman and family moved last week into a new parsonage built by the Tampico Baptist Church. It sits at the edge of Tampico near the church and includes four rooms a bath and a full basement. This marks the churchs first owned parsonage and will allow the pastor to live on the field.

Nazarenes Break Ground For New Educational Unit
Ground breaking for a two story Nazarene educational unit and remodeling of the First Church of the Nazarene took place Sunday at Third Street and Indianapolis Avenue. The project includes 22 Sunday School rooms two auditoriums expanded seating and air conditioning upgrades with completion in about six months and estimates up to 82000 dollars.
