Escaped Boys Back in Jail After Car Theft Spree
Two Indianapolis youths aged fifteen, James Simpson and Irvin Wilson, who escaped from Bartholomew county jail after a six year sentence and fled to Indianapolis, were recaptured and returned to jail. The pair had stolen cars in Seymour and Indianapolis, robbed a Columbus Mobilgas station, and were part of a gang accused of numerous thefts. Police traced their movements from Columbus to Seymour and back toward Indianapolis before arrest.
