A sedan carrying Edgar Milburn 37 and his wife Maude 31 and their two year old adopted daughter Mary Frances plunged from the U S 31 bridge into White River near Rockford Indiana. All three perished in the Sunday morning tragedy alongside a pet dog. Bodies were moved to Patoka Indiana for triple funeral services. Witnesses described a dramatic rescue effort as divers reached the submerged vehicle and pulled out the victims.
