Two Seymour churches held Sunday ceremonies honoring children with special services. At the Nazarene Church a Welcome song, prayers, recitations, duets, and dialogues featured the Cradle Roll and Primary classes led by several Sunday School workers. The Presbyterian program included songs, recitations, and a children’s story directed by Misses Tullis and Ashley with Coulter Montgomery’s supervision. Both houses of worship were decorated with flowers ferns and palms for the occasion.

George W Wetzel 69 Dies at Home Near Cana
George W Wetzel aged 69 died at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon at his home near Cana in Jennings county. He was the father of Alfred Wetzel a Crothersville school official who died two months ago. Burial will be in the Crothersville cemetery. He was born February 5 1857 in Jennings county and married Mary Hoffman who survives. Two sons survive Louis Wetzel of Crothersville and Elton Wetzel of Noblesville.
