He defeated Russell Thomas 104 to 68 for the post and will succeed John Ferry. Bruce Kramer won first vice commander 142 to 66 over Harold Pollett. Rob ert McCord edged Stanley Brewer 102 to 97 for second vice commander. Robert Lucas was reelected finance officer. Two automobiles were damaged at 4 10 p m Wednesday in a collision on Tipton street 10 feet west of Vine street City police said total damage amounted to 65 Emmett G DeWitt 52 of Madison driving a 1957 sedan had made a left turn off Vine street and was going west on Tipton street when he collided with a 1950 sedan driven west on Tipton street by Kenneth D Sneed 25 of Wallonia Officer Robert Gill investigated and said the left rear fender of the DeWitt car was damaged 40 and the left front fender of the Sneed car 25

Navy backs away from Sea of Japan escort plan
