Two Youths Hurt In Norman Bicycle Collision
Two 12 year olds on a single bicycle were struck by a 1939 coach on a county road near Norman Sunday afternoon. Kenneth Norman suffered internal injuries and stayed overnight at Schneck Memorial Hospital. Kenneth Charles had lacerations and was released after treatment. The driver was Charles McKinney of Kurtz. Trooper John Sime investigated.

William L. Reichenbacher 46 longtime Jackson county resident died at his Cortland Street West home after a yearlong illness. He was born July 7 1904 and married Mabel Allman September 14 1925. Man Changes Plea in Court in Indianapo lis Case
Burl Schrake of Indianapolis altered his plea in Jackson Circuit Court Browns Town before Special Judge C Morris Wilson. He admitted guilt to operating a motor vehicle under the influence third offense and the hearing was reset to October 11. Several Arrests By City Police Reported
A number of arrests were made by city police over the weekend. George E. Lebline, 19, Seymour Ri, pled guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated in city court, was fined 50 dollars plus 11.75 dollars costs, and his license suspended 90 days. He was released on bond after arrest Saturday night to appear today. Howard L. Jackson, 67, Cincinnati, arrested Friday night on vagrancy, pled guilty Saturday, fined 50 dollars and costs totaling 60 dollars, to be paid at the state penal farm.

Bedford Woman Dies. Funeral Held for Mrs Fred Graf Sr
Funeral services were held in Bedford for Mrs. Fred Graf Sr, sister-in-law of local women Mrs. Edward Otting and Mrs. Louis Kasting. The Sherwood and Ferguson Funeral Home arranged the service led by Rev George McLain of the First Christian Church. Two Jackson Soldiers Return From Korea
Two Jackson county youths and Korea veterans returned home on leave under the Army rotation plan. Corporal Billy D. Quinn, son of Mrs. West Anderson of South O Brien street, and Pfc. Robert J. Deitz of Freetown arrived at the San Francisco embarkation port last week, spent 48 hours processing, then left for their Jackson homes. Both were wounded in Korea. Quinn is the grandson of Mrs. E B Hall of 634 East Sixth Street.

Mrs. Alvira Ritz 87 Dies in Columbus
Mrs. Alvira Ritz aged 87 of Seymour died Sunday afternoon in a Columbus nursing home after a six year illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Tower and Burkholder Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Pickett officiating. Burial followed at Sand Creek Cemetery. She was born February 3 1864 in Jennings County to Louis and (maiden name) Perry and married Andrew H. Ritz in 1885. Survived by two sons George Ritz of Columbus and Harry F Ritz of Seymour, ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was a member of Ackeret Chapel Methodist Church. Preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
