License fees reduced August ruling changes sale date
Bruce K. Combs Seymour license bureau manager says half-price automobile license plates will not go on sale until August after Indiana Supreme Court declared the July 1 half-price provision unconstitutional. Harry A. Sharp, assistant manager of the bureau of motor vehicles, relayed the decision.

District Farm Session Deliberations At North Vernon

Sugar Registration Centers Planned Across County
The county rationing board announced sugar registration centers in Freetown Crothersville Medora Brownstown and Owen township likely at Clear Spring. Five more centers will open in Seymour Wednesday and Thursday this week with additional dates Friday and Saturday as needed. Residents in Redding township should register in Seymour Wednesday or Thursday. Officials will provide application blanks and certificates at each authorized center.
