Seymour city council approved Ordinance No. 16 providing a 50 year lease between the board of aviation commissioners and Whittymore Industries at Freeman Field to manufacture metal products. Seymour receives 7100 in Title III funds to buy equipment and set up meal sites for seniors. Of this, 2500 will be allocated to Brown Decatur and Bartholomew Counties for elderly meals. Ford Names Regional Chairmen To Keep Delegates In Line
President Ford's campaign named nine regional delegate chairmen to keep Ford delegates aligned and communicate with them. A Reagan spokesman said Reagan would campaign in Washington state for 38 delegates as Saturday’s selection nears. Prosecutor Says Jones Planned For Trouble
Robert Paul Jones aged 32 is on trial in Lawrence Circuit Court Bedford on three counts of first degree murder for the slayings of Tybith Campbell of Seymour James Malone and Leslie Crum of Columbus. Prosecutor Richard Donnelly said Jones planned trouble and intended to shoot himself after visiting a couple’s home two weeks earlier.

City To Host CROP Event
The Community Hunger Appeal of Church World Service in Indiana plans two state long events for funds and awareness.
