$1 048 Stolen From Austin Gas Station Hold Up
A morning robbery at the Scott County Service Station on U S Road 31 in Austin involved a 25 year old man using a .38 revolver to threaten William Osbor ne, 64, of Scottsburg. About $1 048 was taken including $150 to $200 in change and receipts from Dairy Queen and an adjacent ice cream stand left in the station.

Woman Struck On East Tipton Street Injured in Crash
Mrs. Martin Shade of 309 South Broadway suffered numerous bruises after being hit by an automobile on East Tipton Street Monday night. She was knocked unconscious but not seriously injured and did not require hospitalization as the driver took her home. The collision occurred near Vine Street around 10 o'clock.
