United Press reports from Indianapolis June 15 that prices for goods are at their lowest until costs of materials labor and transport drop. Outbreak in Mingo County Coal Field Quelled
In Williamson West Virginia on June 15 a renewed outbreak in the Mingo county coal fields was believed quelled today. A miner was killed and a state policeman seriously injured in the clash between authorities and the Lick Creek tent colony. Major Tom Davis and a police detail were fired on prompting a call out of vigilantes and reserves. Police with machine guns returned to the fight and thirty seven men were arrested for violating martial law.
