Speeding Car Chased by Seymour Police Crashes
Seymour police investigated a morning one car crash after a speeding 1972 two door attempted to flee a patrol car at North O'Brien Street. The vehicle went out of control, striking a mailbox as occupants fled on foot. owner Clifford R. Wayt reported two men borrowed his keys. Damage totaled about 750 dollars to two cars at East Tipton and South O'Brien Streets.

Sky Haven Expansion Plan Approved by Seymour Planning Board
The Seymour planning commission approved Sky Haven mobile home park expansion on a unanimous eight to zero vote. Adjoining property owners may seek a fence around the park, and related cases from the floor were continued with hearings set for Snyde Acres and Jackson Park subdivision next month and August respectively. The plan’s budget for the planning commission also passed unanimously.
