Nine Year Old Boy Hurt In Collision
A nine year old boy was injured in a two car crash at Second and Walnut streets at 3 20 p m Monday. Paul Manion suffered chest and head injuries while riding in a 1957 sedan driven by his mother Evelyn Manion. The other car, a 1951 four door sedan owned by Walter Stewart, was a total loss. Stewart faces a charge of failure to yield the right of way.

Rain totals over two days include 1.25 inches in Honey town and over an inch in Cortland with scattered showers and lingering flood risk along U S 31. Weather forecasts expect break up by Wednesday with mild 60s to 70s and a humid 84 Monday morning readings. White River at Rockford stood at 3.3 feet and stationary at 7 am.

A collision on St Louis avenue near Walnut street caused $120 in damage to two cars. Ruth Ann Ruddick 16 of Seymour R2 drove a 1957 four door sedan owned by Avis Ruddick. Benjamin L McKinney 32 of 645 South Vine street drove a 1957 station wagon. The right rear fender and taillight of the Ruddick car and the left front of the McKinney car were damaged.
