Waymansville Lad Hurt In Omashup At Walesboro Crossing
Orville Otte twenty is seriously burned and Miss Verba Carmichael eighteen injured when their car was struck by a southbound Pennsylvania train at a Walesboro crossing four miles south of Columbus. The couple was hospitalized. Carmichael suffered a broken nose a missing thumb and internal injuries while Otte faces severe burns. A separate crash near the same crossing left Mrs Hazel Zuckschwert near death from brain concussion after being thrown from a buggy.

W F Bush received word Sunday of the death of Mrs I G Saltmarsh at her Kansas City home. The body will be brought here for burial, arriving Tuesday afternoon on train No 2. She was born in this city, married as Miss Mayme Dennison, and is survived by a husband two daughters a mother a brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 30 p m at the Davis home with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
