Careful Driving Urged After Weekend Mishaps
Several accidents over the weekend injured four people amid good driving conditions. A van carrying Philip Freeman Deborah Gibson and Mary Kamyz rolled after the left rear axle failed on I 65 north of Seymour. They were hospitalized with scalp lacerations, back pains, and a possible leg fracture. A Seymour woman was also hurt when her eastbound car hit a vehicle on Tipton Street near Bush Street.

Crothersville Hosts First Red White and Blue Festival
A large Friday crowd attended Crothersville's inaugural Red White and Blue Festival marking the Bicentennial.
