The Seymour board approved preliminary elementary school drawings and an architect contract addendum for construction management. May Arrests Rise Then Dip Across Month Report
The May activity report from Police Chief Donald F. Scott shows total criminal arrests at 40, up from last May but seven fewer than April this year. Public intoxication led with nine arrests, while marijuana and implements offenses rose from last May. Juvenile arrests reached 24, up from May and April, with theft and burglary prominent among offenses. Complaints filed totaled 553, and year to date complaints reached 2,463, higher than last year.
