Marines clash in DMZ rescue as helicopters shot down

A Marine patrol inside the DMZ engaged North Vietnamese forces and, after two days of movement through mountains and jungle to safety, were reinforced. Two CH46 helicopters were destroyed with uninjured crews joining the ground force. Seven Marines were wounded, four by friendly fire.

Local REA Office Moves Service Continues in Seymour

Seymour loses a local REA Express office but daily pickup and delivery will continue from the Scottsburg terminal serving North Vernon Seymour Madison Salem Paoli Austin and Scottsburg. Richard Hunt, new resident manager, says the centralization plan consolidates Indiana offices and maintains daily truck shipments from Chicago starting June 15 with free calls to Enterprise 2993 for shipments.
