New Shoe Stamp Lasts Longer Under OPA Ruling
The OPA announced a new shoe ration stamp that becomes valid next Wednesday and must last through October 31, eleven days longer than stamp 17. Officials say the extension is not significant and aligns with the policy of three pairs of shoes per person per year. The stamp is transferable within families and a parent may use it for a child.
