Victims Named In North Seymour County Motorcycle Crash
Harry Leo Owens Jr of Crothersville and James Everett Watson of Austin died in a motorcycle collision on U S 31 south of Crothersville at 3 30 a m. The pair were riding double at high speed when their cycle skidded 360 feet, struck two trees and scattered debris. Watson died instantly. Owens later died at Schneck Memorial Hospital. Deputy coroner ruled accident. Funeral services planned in Scottsburg and Austin.

Three Treated For Minor Hurts Friday
Three persons received minor injuries and were treated at Schneck Memorial Hospital on Friday. Sara Jo Fleetwood, six, injured her left wrist after a fall at a friend's home and was released after X rays at 12 55 p m. Roger Jaynes, 20, cut his left middle finger on tin at 8 15 a m while working and was released. Larry Richart, 10, had a splinter under his third right finger while unloading alfalfa and was treated and released.

At 5 p m Friday on Broadway 35 feet south of Centennial street two cars sustained $40 total damage in a collision. A 1959 convertible driven by Kenneth E Engleking age 30 of Seymour R4 had $20 damage to the left rear fender after hitting a 1948 coach driven by David E Beavers age 23 of 617 South Carter street. the coach also had $20 damage to the left rear fender. Officer Robert Gill investigated.
