Suspended Farm Sentence For Liquor Possession
William Holzworth of Crothersville received a six month suspended sentence and a $100 fine plus costs after pleading to liquor possession. Eight quarts were found during a home search with Marshal Mitchell and a deputy. Other locals, including Joe Stricklen of Indianapolis, were fined for intoxication. Fred Kline Dies At Home In Indianapolis
Mrs. Henry Niemeyer learned of Fred Kline s death at his Indianapolis home Sunday night. He had been in failing health, died suddenly at 9 o clock. A former Columbus resident, he was the son of Mrs. Margaret Kline. He married Hattie Niemeyer, a niece of Henry Niemeyer of this city. Survived by widow, mother, sister Mrs. Perry Towne, brother John Kline of Columbus. Funeral services in Columbus Wednesday time to be announced.
