Man Arrested After High Speed Chase Hits Motorcycle Rider
A Louisville man, Thomas Edward Fink, 43, was arrested after a high speed chase on I-65 near Seymour. His 1968 two door struck two Creve Coeur Illinois riders, Lindmeier, 24, and Lehman, 30, causing injuries and vehicle damage. Lindmeier was hospitalized for abrasions. Fink faced DUI, reckless driving, and leaving the scene charges.

Six Injured In I-65 One Car Crash Near Crothersville
A Sunday morning crash on I-65 one mile north of Crothersville left six injured. Driver Evelyn Swan, 25, Chicago, suffered a fractured pelvis and other injuries. passengers include Gwendolyn Rucker, Kristien Rucker, Eugene J. Rucker Jr and Sr, Nichole Rucker, all treated at local hospitals and Riley Hospital Indianapolis. Authorities say Swan fell asleep, veered off the west shoulder and struck a Crothersville exit I-beam. Additional injuries reported in separate incidents: 14 year old Thomas Hoene of Seymour injured on Waymansville Pike, and a collision with a steer injuring Howard L. Jones, 19, near Brownstown. A two-vehicle collision on Garden Avenue involved Debby K. Ruddick, 18, and Manuel David, with modest damages.

75 Allotment To Be Set
A new farm wheat allotment may be established for 1975 crop wheat acreage for farms without a 1974 allotment if eligible. John W. Spurgeon of the Jackson County ASC Committee announced that a 1975 allotment will be automatic for most farms with a 1974 allotment. To qualify, the operator must earn over half income from farming, no ownership in another 1975 allotment farm, and at least one year of production experience. Applications must be filed by July 1, 1974 at the county office.
