Man Fined On Two Charges In City Court
Thomas Jones a 25 year old from Seymour pleaded guilty in city court to operating a vehicle while under the influence and to public intoxication after a 1 25 PM arrest by city police in the 200 block of South Chestnut. Mayor Donald L Herwig fined him 50 and 14 75 costs and recommended a one year license suspension for the DUI charge and 10 and 13 costs for the public intoxication charge.

Death of Mrs Zella Floyd 77 in Little York
Mrs Zella Henderson Floyd 77 a longtime Little York resident died at home after a three year diabetes illness. Funeral services are set for 2 pm Thursday at Mt Eden Christian Church in Washington county eight miles west of Little York with burial there. She was born July 7 1876 in Mt Sidney Ind and married Elbridge Floyd in 1912 who survives. She lived on a farm in the Little York area and was a member of the Russell Chapel. Funeral home arrangements with Stewart Scottsburg.
