Funerals Held Today for Three Wreck Victims
The Baltimore and Ohio wreck at Medora Wednesday morning claimed three lives. Thomas J. Hill was buried from West Bruce street at 10 o'clock with Rev. H. C. Pierson officiating. Hugo Sielker was laid to rest at his Indianapolis Avenue home and the Lutheran Evangelical church with Rev. Fr. H. Eggers presiding. Harry McCulley’s service followed at the First Baptist church led by Rev. M. L. Banister. All three were interred in Riverview cemetery.

Limited Cars to Speed Interurban Runs Indianapolis to Louisville
Interstate Public Service Company announces a revised interurban schedule effective June 16. Two extra limited cars will run Indianapolis to Louisville and Louisville to Indianapolis, cutting trip times to three hours thirty five minutes. Grace acquitted by Jennings County jury in payroll case
J E Grace of Hayden former city resident was tried in Jennings county on a payroll padding charge. He was acquitted in eighteen minutes after defense by J M Lewis. Grace previously ran a machine shop and garage on South Chestnut Street and moved to a farm east of town last fall while taking a highway department job.

Cashier Wounded as Bank Robbery Fails in Indiana
Clarence Smith, cashier of the Preble State Bank, was wounded by a bandit who demanded money. The robbers fled with a taxi to Ft Wayne, were later captured there after confessing. Edna Werling, the assistant cashier, was grazed. Suspects Russell Barrone and Donald McDaniels were arrested 14 miles north after taxi driver Eugene Cole led deputies to the scene.
