Firefighters were called at 6 30 a m Sunday to extinguish a grease fire at a fish stand on Indianapolis Avenue. The interior suffered smoke damage but no serious harm occurred. Owner Myrtle Day said someone placed grease in the oven and it ignited when she lit the oven. No damage estimate was given.
