Shields Alumni Names New Officers at Dance Dinner
The Shields High School Alumni Association elected officers at a Friday night dance in the American Legion Home ballroom attended by over 125 couples. Johnny Otte was elected president, Max Eckelman vice president, Mrs. Donovan Kieser secretary, and Mrs. Maurice Lange treasurer. Airman Elvin L. Stevens, 19, son of Seymour Indiana residents, enters the Airplane and Engine Mechanic's School at Sheppard Air Force Base Texas.
