They admitted entering the roadside restaurant and stealing cigars cigarettes chewing gum and 5 90 in pennies. Charges of second degree burglary were filed in Jackson Circuit Court.

Jackson county posts plan to attend the Ninth District convention in North Vernon on Saturday and Sunday. Ed Whitcomb and Charles Olmstead announce the National Champion Color Guard from Kokomo will lead the parade Sunday at 2 PM. The 13 veteran color guard members won state titles in 1946 and 1948 and wear red coats with a unique silk flag valued over $3,000.
