Federal and county officers raided a 75 gallon still in Owen township near Kurtz, seizing the apparatus and six barrels of mash and whiskey. Walker Wisdom of Kentucky was arrested and jailed in New Albany for liquor law violations. Evidence was saved from some of the seized whiskey. Wisdom previously served time after a Shelby county conviction in 1929.
