The Seymour city council in regular session appointed two new school trustees and one pool commissioner. A. L. Jackson was reelected for a three year term starting August 1. W. W. Baldwin was elected to fill the unexpired term of Edward B. Douglas, effective June 1. Avery Dittmer was elected to the Seymour Municipal Swimming Pool Commission to fill the unexpired term of Rev. Funeral services for William Edward Graham aged sixty two were held in Monroe with Rev. Earl Osborn in charge. Burial followed in Monroe Cemetery. He died Monday at his Haleysburg home after a three week pneumonia illness. He was born January 18 1880 in Jefferson Township Indiana. Survived by widow Ollie Graham seven children Lotus Linda Lillian Merle Esta William and Wilma. Also survived by two brothers Floyd Thomas and sisters Jessie Graham Robinson and Nellie Graham Bush.

Trailer Measure Is Introduced in Seymour

The War Department released 75 American soldiers killed in action or dying of wounds in the Philippines.
