Masked bandit hunted after late night Seymour robbery
Police and state troopers pursue a lone masked robber who held up four youths on a county road northeast of Seymour near Public Service stockpiles. Three wristwatches and 3 dollars were stolen. the bandit wore a dark coat and carried a blue steel .32 revolver and a white mask. A green sedan was claimed stolen on West Second Street and a twelve foot boat was reported missing near Bell's Ford bridge weeks earlier.

Two Plead Guilty In City Court
William Matthews of Satillo Indiana and Theodore Wagoner of Brownstown pleaded guilty to public intoxication in city court. Four people were injured when two cars collided on West Second street road near Hangman Crossing around 8 45 PM Saturday. Kenneth L Fosbrink a local tree surgeon suffered a severe cut to the left forearm and other injuries. his wife Opal Fosbrink sustained a deep cut near the left shoulder with additional cuts. Seymour Fire Department Ends Weekend With Two Runs

Miss Henrietta Toborg Dead at 23 in Seymour
Miss Henrietta Toborg of Seymour aged twenty three died at her North Elm home after an appendectomy on February 19. A long distance operator for Indiana Telephone Corp at Seymour Exchange for five years she was a lifelong resident and St Pauls Congregational Church member.
