Man Injured In Truck Mishap Near Freetown
A 24 year old Columbus man William F Christian was injured when a 1974 two ton trash removal truck rolled over on Ind 135 four and a half miles south of Freetown at 2 07 pm. The vehicle shed fence damage estimated at 250 dollars and Christian sustained bruises and cuts. Trooper Sargent L Richey is investigating.

The Seymour park and recreation board reviewed nine applications for the director's position at its Tuesday meeting in city hall. Seymour youth charged in grocery break in
A 17 year old Seymour youth is jailed on second degree burglary fleeing a police officer and public intoxication after a break in at Brown's Grocery on East Second Street. Police say he was found hiding under tires near the store after attempting entry through a utility building. He was arrested at 11 15 p m by three Seymour officers and booked shortly after midnight.
