In Jackson Circuit Court at Brownstown the will contest of Della M. Platter’s estate was taken under advisement after both sides requested briefs. Separate cases include Aaron Morran, on parole, arraigned on assault and disorderly conduct charges. Frank Howard Cecil pleaded guilty to DUI with a $50 fine and license suspension. Four special farm tours were presented to the Business-Industry-Farm executive committee Tuesday night by Edgar Hackman, committee chair, at the Jackson county agricultural office in Brownstown. Malcolm Browning and Hackman scheduled visits to show modern farming and rural living with irrigation demos and farmer Q and A. Purdue engineer Don Sisson will join two tours. Pottschmidt and Zabel farms will feature irrigation July 21, the tour day. Henry Snyder farm will showcase elevated milking parlors and straight line milking to prevent milk contamination. Other stops include Steakmaker Farm with advanced fertilization practices. Carter Fultz will lead his farm tour.

Three men armed with pistols robbed the Farmers and Merchants State Bank in Oldenburg Indiana and fled east in a green car with about 5600 dollars.
