Butlerville Youth Wounded by Accidental Gunshot
Hugh Reynolds a 14 year old of Butlerville was taken Tuesday to Bartholomew County Hospital Columbus in good condition after a rifle accident in the woods near his home. He and two companions were handling a rifle when a movement in the brush caused the shooter to fire injuring Reynolds through the left wrist the chest and the abdomen. The bullet apparently missed vital organs.

Soldier Fined After Accident on Road 31
Three Fort Knox soldiers escaped injury when their auto overturned on U S Road 31 one mile north of Reddington. Driver T Wayne Hemstreet was fined 1 and costs for reckless driving after state trooper John Sime said the car swerved while trying to pass a truck.
