War Prisoners Freed Coming To U S Soon
Four more prisoners of war held by Germany have been liberated and expect to return home soon. Private Hubert E. Borcherding of Seymour along with Lt. James C. Utterback and Lt. Harry Ford are now out of enemy hands. Borcherding was captured in North Africa in 1943 and is back under military control. Utterback, shot down over Czechoslovakia on Christmas Day 1944, is at Le Havre awaiting home, while Ford, a two year POW and Air Medal recipient, was released April 27 and is en route.

Youths Given Jail Sentences for Petit Larceny
