Capt. Charles L. Parham III, 26, of Dearborn, a former Seymour youth, died in the B-26 bomber crash five miles from Detroit Wayne County Airport. Also killed were Lt. Donald Streeter, Cpt. John Cinko, and Pfc. Donald Radtke. Parham’s parents were Charles Parham Jr. and Marjorie Hagan.

Country Club appoints building committee for new club house
At a membership meeting the Seymour Country Club formed an eight man building committee to supervise plans and finances for a new club house after a fire on Christmas Eve. Stuart S. The club will resume activities as repairs proceed and the New Year’s Eve dance was cancelled.
