Funeral services for Earl Mings a 48 year old construction engineer of Shelbyville Ind were held at Murphy Funeral Home with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. He died after surgery at Methodist Hospital Indianapolis following a seven week illness. Mings supervised projects including Brownstown High School gymnasium and Notre Dame law building work. He also oversaw the new courthouse in Shelbyville and other major Indiana construction projects.

Three Fleehearty Children Undergo Tonsil Adenoid Operations
Three siblings Kenneth aged seven Sune and Roger Fleehearty underwent tonsil and adenoid removal at Sehneck Memorial Hospital today. They are children of Mrs Zeila Fleehearty of 617 West Laurel Street. Their father William Fleehearty was killed months ago in a train collision at Vogel crossing southeast of the city.

Hoffar Leaves for Active Military Duty
Seymour attorney Taylor T Hoffar with offices on North Chestnut street has been ordered into active service with the United States Army. He will report at Fort Knox Kentucky Monday after leaving Sunday. Hoffar an armored division reserve second lieutenant has been ordered into service for the duration of the emergency and will close his law office. He earned his commission after ROTC training at Indiana University and has attended summer camps since graduation. He will be joined by Mrs. Hoffar once a definite assignment is given.

Man Freed On One Charge Rearrested In Jackson Circuit Court
