Born July 16 1871 in Redding Township he was married March 5 1899 to Cosetta Crippin and leaves a widow a brother John and half brother Benjamin plus sisters Mrs Will Ackeret and Mrs May.

Owen C. Mahorney formerly of Seymour died at a government hospital in Danville NL. Funeral services will be in Louisville at 10 30 Thursday, with burial in Riverview Cemetery. He worked as a Baltimore and Ohio brakeman, later at K and T Company Louisville, lived near Louisville, and left Seymour about seventeen years ago. Survived by widow Blanche Elliott, son Cecil, three brothers Orville, Omer, Everitt, and sister Eva Mahorney.
