Lyston Drees a Woodstock teen, son of Mr and Mrs Ed Drees, died about 1 45 pm from a bullet wound to the head. Chief Homer Phillips said the wound appears self inflicted with a 32 20 Colt revolver and that no motive is known. A coroner s inquest is planned with funeral arrangements to be announced.

Willard Guernsey of Jennings county and Hershel Cochran of Jackson county pleaded guilty in Jackson Circuit Court to petit larceny.
