Post Office officials announce annual reporting for aliens in the area. Form 1 53 cards are available at the Seymour post office and immigration offices. Registrants must report address within 30 days and may face custody or deportation for noncompliance. City Awards Gasoline and Oil Bids and Promotes Koerner
The Seymour board of public works and safety awarded all gasoline, motor oil and furnace oil bids for 1966 to Sinclair Refining Co. The Sinclair bid was chosen as lowest and best, with Sunray DX Oil Co. as the only other bidder. Officer Charles C. Koerner was promoted to sergeant effective January 1, becoming the department’s third sergeant.
