Mrs. Sarah E Tinder aged 83 widow of John R Tinder former Jackson circuit court clerk died at her son Claude Tinder home in Cortland at 9 30 this morning from burns suffered Sunday while starting a fire in a store. She was born in Hart county Kentucky May 29 1842 and came to Jackson county about fifty years ago. Funeral services will be held January 1 at Cortland church with burial in Cortland cemetery.
