Town Board Lets Bid For New Police Car In Brownstown
Brownstown town board approved Hal Webster Chevrolet as lowest bidder to provide a patrol car for the police department. Webster’s bid includes a $2000 trade difference on a 1964 Ford trade in and a 1967 Chevrolet four door. John W. Lewis Republican candidate for Ninth District congressman did not file a campaign expenses statement with the Jackson County clerk. The deadline was 45 days after the general election. the clerk may name nonfilers to the county prosecutor within 10 days after that.
