Panama Limited Returns To Service After Wreck
The Panama Limited resumed operation today after six cars of the Chicago to New Orleans luxury liner derailed near Ruddock Louisiana, injuring over twenty people though none severely. The October term of Jackson Circuit Court ends today on its seventy second day. Few cases of importance were heard. the January term opens Monday January 6 with Judge George H. Gossman presiding and John M. Lewis as prosecuting attorney. Lewis, previously deputy, will handle state cases and begin the new term ready to set trials. The seventy two day term opened October 7 and ran three months with mostly minor actions.
